2026 Internship - Sales Operations (SDP)

JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Operations Intern will provide support to the global sales team, work lead generation, and facilitate process improvement efforts regarding aircraft, service, and parts & programs sales. This role will provide the opportunity to communicate with and practice relationship management with customers; as well as execute sales strategies and tactics.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the global sales team supporting visits
Coordinate and conduct pre-sale activities on behalf of the sales team.
Interact with prospective customers to address the prospects needs and expectations.
Assist the sales team by providing requested sales information, training, etc.
Be aware of domestic and international product operating/certification regulations.
Translate customer requests into product solutions.
Research and assess competitive offerings and pricing.
Assist the sales team in communicating effectively with customers to identify opportunities and explain solutions.
Provide sales activity reports and advise leadership on trends and other issues.
Collaborate cross functionally to support the sales teams.
Assist in the development and implementation of spaneting campaign launches that help drive business
Participate with the team on product presentation and highlight value proposition
Work to improve customer data quality and accessibility.
Structure, manage, and extract data from internal and external sources for analysis
Support spanet analysis and pricing analysis efforts.
Lead efforts to define, document, and improve sales processes.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Pursuing a bachelors degree in: Aviation, Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or other related field
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient skills with Microsoft Office products
Professional and diplomatic demeanor
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Acts with customer expectations and requirements in mind
Strong attention to detail
Strong sense of accountability and integrity
Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and complete tasks on or before due date.
Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks .
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
