We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter to join the 787 Program in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves applying paint to aircraft sections in accordance with customer design and livery requirements. The position is 100 onsite and requires working at heights utilizing fall protection equipment.

• Perform painting of aircraft sections as per customer design and unique livery requirements.
• Verify aircraft is ready for exterior finish.
• Make necessary patterns, perform layout, and apply prescribed primers, paints, and finishes to the aircraft exterior.
• Prepare exterior surface of aircraft for painting.
• Apply aircraft finishes and external markings to aircraft sections.

• Minimum of 1 year of painting experience in aircraft, automotive, or general painting.
• Experience working from heights and using fall protection equipment.
• Ability to complete Fall Protection Training.

• Greater than three years of aerospace paint experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-staged paint processes at large scale.
• Knowledge of color space, color analysis, paint formulation, and paint application techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

This is a Contract position based out of North Charleston, SC.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
