Job Description

We are seeking skilled aircraft painters to join our team at the Melbourne airport facility. The ideal candidates will have over two years of experience in paint preparation and painting of corporate jets, automotive, aerospace, or yachts. Attention to detail and knowledge of paint weight requirements per FAA standards are crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint aircraft surfaces ensuring adherence to FAA standards.
• Perform sanding, deburring, buffing, and blasting tasks as required.
• Utilize spray guns and paint booths effectively.
• Conduct inspections to ensure high-quality finish and compliance with standards.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years in paint prep and painting in relevant industries.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including rotating 1st and 2nd shifts every 90 days.
• High attention to detail.

Work Environment

The role is based in a hangar environment at the MLB airport, working flexible shifts from Monday to Saturday with one weekday and one weekend day off. The team rotates between 1st and 2nd shifts to optimize skill levels.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Will be paid hourly/OT at time and a half. Will work OT. Can be sent to other sites to help (voluntary) with all expenses paid in the US/France/Dubai.
