We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility. As a Surface Treatment I Professional, you will play a crucial role in finishing aircraft components that are essential to aerodynamics, noise reduction, airflow efficiency, and landing deceleration. Your work will support the delivery of advanced airplane technology to leading manufacturers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Work onsite at our Foley, AL location.
• Adhere to a 1st shift schedule (5:15am-2:15pm) from Monday to Friday.
• Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, protective clothing, arm sleeves, dust mask, and gloves.
• Be prepared to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and overtime as required.
• Read and interpret blueprint specifications, SRM’s, and shop orders to determine areas to be sealed and painted.
• Stir mixtures using a shake machine or by hand.
• Apply cleaning solvent or other solutions to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Clean and roughen surfaces for coating.
• Apply paint primers, clear coats, sealants, or adhesives.
• Complete seal and water testing of components.
• Install and seal small detail parts or sub-assemblies.
• Dispose of hazardous materials safely.
• Mask areas for application.
• Apply stencils and decals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand work instructions (verbal and written)
• Capability to perform basic math calculations and conduct self-inspection/audit

• 2+ years of experience in aerospace, aircraft, or automotive painting
• Experience in paint prep, including sanding and masking
• Prior paint or processor experience with blueprint and/or specification reading skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
