The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in Arlington, VA.
This position is dedicated to the Policy and Governance team in Enterprise Classified Security. The specialist will serve as subject matter expert on DoD and federal policy and will liaise with DoD and federal policy action officers to inform of policy implications to Boeing. The specialist will provide analysis of federal and DoD policies ahead of meetings/engagements with industry and government partners. The specialist will develop and implement an internal governance framework for policy coordination among Boeing stakeholders and will liaise directly with government partners to interpret and clarify federal policies and their application to Boeing.
Position Responsibilities:
Serves as Boeing ECS focal point to interpret federal and DoD policy requirements as they pertain to Boeing
Works directly with federal partners to provide industry input to emerging policies
Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures
Develops, implements and administers security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or highly complex programs
Contributes to enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) (e.g., participates in the review cycle and decision making process for enterprise export compliance, procedures (PROs), Business Process Instructions (BPIs) and Desktop Instructions (DIs)
Provides innovation and creativity into Personnel Security (e.g., reduce cycle time) to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex customer requirements
Provides innovation and creativity into security awareness training and education program (briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information
Completes tasks toward long-range goals and objectives
Oversees Sub-Contractor Management (e.g., providing contractual requirements and direction, site assistance visits and reviews) to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
10+ years of experience in government security
10+ years experience developing, coordinating, and implementing DoD or federal level policies
Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP) access
Ability to travel 10 of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, and outlook)
Experience with oral and written communications skills
Ability to obtain a successful US government polygraph examination

Summary pay range: $150,450 - $203,550
