✨ Role Overview:

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced helicopter pilot who wants the best of both worlds: meaningful, high-standard flying and true lifestyle balance. As a Bell 429 Captain based in Halifax (YHZ), you’ll operate a modern aircraft in a premium, client-focused environment where your judgment, professionalism, and leadership are genuinely valued. With an attractive 4-weeks-on, 4-weeks-off schedule, this role gives you the opportunity to be fully engaged during your rotation while enjoying meaningful time away between assignments. • Operate as Pilot-in-Command on a Bell 429, based out of Halifax (YHZ), ensuring all flights are conducted with the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.
  • Deliver a premium client experience, acting as the face of the company and building strong, trusted relationships with high-value clientele.
  • Collaborate closely with the Flight Coordination Centre and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution of all mission requirements and service expectations.
  • Support operational readiness on reserve days, contributing to a reliable and responsive flight operation.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the operation.

🎯 What You Bring:

  • Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License – Helicopter or Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
  • Group 4 Instrument Rating.
  • Valid Transport Canada Medical Category 1.
  • Canadian Radio Telephone License.
  • Minimum of 2500 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 1000 multi-engine PIC hours, turbine time is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 60Ibs.
  • Hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits.
  • Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuelplanning and weightand balance.
  • Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices.
  • Strong client service mindset with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to perform in a fast-paced, flexible scheduling environment
