Role PurposeLead team of architects to perform the following:
Create and implement solution Architecture for respective business towers to be used across all business towers.
Create, Maintain and Standardize Enterprise IT Strategy across MAB Group, and ensure Solution Architect align with Enterprise Architecture.
Understand business needs and translate business requirements into IT Solutions that fits the business needs, with alignment to both Enterprise & Solution IT Architecture
Key AccountabilityStrategic
Establish IT Architecture for short. mid and long term.
Promote shared infrastructure and solution to reduce costs and improve information flow across organisational and computing silos
Provide strategic advise to enterprise architect, project teams and business units on upcoming trends within the business unit domain by surveying the spanet landscape for solution insights, direction, vendors, and methods
Operational
Develop and continuously update the IT architecture direction & technology standards based on latest IT industry trends
Engage with Business IT (BIT) & relevant business owners to translate business requirements into an agile, cost effective and working business solution which are aligned to both solution and enterprise architecture.
Participate & provide operational feedback in Technical Evaluation, Design, Change Advisory and Cutover Readiness Review.
Participate & provide strategic feedback to Archietcture Review Board (ARB)
Manage and allocate IT budget along with Head,Technology Architecture
Governance and Policies
Drive compliance to Corporate & IT Governance requirements
Provides feedback to business units to serve a check and balance on vendor proposed solutions which includes review of technical solution in vendor RFPs (e.g. cost, sizing, functionality)
Organisation & People
Collaborate with project managers to help scope the resources and expertise required to implement an IT solution
Provide guidance to the project team during the systems development life cycle to ensure end-delivery of IT solution fits into the higher level enterprise architecture and is cohesive
Undertake any tasks as and when assigned by management
Qualification & Experience- Degree in IT related with minimum of 8 years working experience in successfully creating & managing IT Solution Architecture across different business lines (i.e. IT, Engineering, finance, operations, human resources etc.)
- Minimum of 3 years in a management position (preferably experienced in a matrix management role).
- Engineering, Network & Computer Science Related TOGAF (The Open Ground Architecture Framework)
- Demonstrated strong track record in enabling the IT organization to define & drive the short, mid and long term business objectives with delivery of a scalable and agile Enterprise Architecture
- Highly prefer knowledge in defining IT Solution Architectures across different business lines in Airlines industry.
Skills & Knowledge- Excellent knowledge of IT processes, and IT service improvement is required
- Good knowledge of general IT architecture is required
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of the IT service industry is required
