At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Operations Specialist to join our client’s aerospace team in Amarillo, TX. Your work will directly support aviation safety, precision engineering, and continuous improvement on a fast-paced production floor.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and assist with First Article Inspection (FAI) activities
Resolve CAMs issues related to FAIs
Create and track First Article Requirement Records (FARR)
Provide timely reports and status updates
Review plans to ensure compliance with customer requirements
Support FAA certification processes in accordance with 14 CFR Part 21 (21.33)
Assist in preparing conformity packages including C of Cs, 8130-9s, material certs, and inspection records
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Promote quality integration throughout the production process
Maintain a deep understanding of plant and departmental policies and procedures
Collaborate effectively with team members and management
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED
3 to 5 years of experience in the aviation industry
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of quality systems such as ENOVIA, SAP, QlikView
Preferred Qualifications:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in aviation or a technical field
Green Belt certification or Continuous Improvement training
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) training
CATIA software experience
Familiarity with FAA certification processes and documentation (C of Cs, 8130-9s, DARF)
Experience working with ODA Unit Members or FAA designees

Pay Details: $28.00 to $48.00 per hour
