Role IntroductionReports to: Head of Treasury Services
The Treasury Services Manager sits under the Financial Services team mainly responsible for monitoring and managing the financial risk faced by the Cathay Group. You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Treasury Services in developing treasury strategies to assess and manage financial risks within the Group. This is an excellent opportunity to develop yourself in the treasury services area and make a real impact on the Cathay business.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Head of Treasury Services in developing treasury strategies to assess and manage all financial risks
- Provide hedging advice and execute trades on FX, fuel, interest rate and CO2 emissions
- Responsible for preparation of monthly Finance Committee Report
- Assist in the preparation and review of treasury policies on liquidity, FX, interest rate, fuel, counterparty and sustainability risks etc.
- Finetune governance framework and ensure treasury policies are compiled with
- Review and negotiate the terms and conditions of ISDA and banking facility documents
- Arrange bank guarantees for the Group and support daily liquidity management and cash management strategies
- Initiate and support enhancements to the current Treasury Risk Management System – SAP TRM S4/Hana module
- Responsible for KYC requirements for all the bank or trading counterparties and work independently and provide advice to regions, subsidiaries and line departments with respect to all kinds of treasury matters
- Take on ad-hoc assignments or projects from time to time
Requirements- Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years post-qualification experience in managerial role
- Professional qualification in treasury an advantage
- Solid knowledge of global financial spanet and treasury products, money spanet, FX and oil spanet
- Possess digital skills like Power BI or Power Automate an advantage
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills with capability in building relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Agile in adapting to changing requirements
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines among multiple priorities
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Knowledge of SAP S4/Hana TRM system and hands-on experience on Bloomberg and Refinitiv an advantage
