Job Purpose

The job holder will take the lead at local level on forging links and developing relationships with relevant commercial partners and key stakeholders such as Business Partners, Trade Associations, Industry Bodies or other Tourism entities by maintaining a high level of engagement and visibility. By working closely with the management team, the job holder will be required to negotiate and agree commercial terms with relevant business partners to maximize revenue opportunities and Skywards revenue contribution and base. In addition, the job holder will lead the local trade spaneting and communication strategy, ensuring its effective implementation in close collaboration with the Sales department.

  • In charge of trade spaneting, developing and monitoring trade spaneting plan as well as spaneting fund management in order to maximize related ROIs.
  • The job holder will ensure that all the local assets are used in an optimal way to enhance the Company performance and visibility.


  • Identify, develop, build and maintain commercial relationships with Business Partners and Stakeholders through strategic/operational planning and negotiations to enhance business proposition and increase revenue and Skywards revenue contribution and base
  • Elaborate commercial partnership plan and analyze the performance of Commercial Partners/Key Stakeholders and deliver monthly updates and recommend actions to assist in the targets achievement.
  • Monitor revenues/costs relating to this area and assist the sales manager and commercial manager in the annual spaneting plan and budgeting process.
  • Research and track Commercial Partnership activities, recommend and implement changes in processes, systems, strategy for business growth to address those needs.
  • Assist with review of annual trade spaneting plan, implementation support and spaneting fund management in coordination with sales manager and commercial manager. Regular monitoring of related budget and ROI for each action as well as trade spaneting benchspan.
  • Direct spaneting with trade and corporate, content management and campaigns plan referring to company process of dotmailer.com and lead EK trade web site.
  • Identify new business opportunities with Commercial Partners/Key Stakeholders to ensure long term revenue protection and growth. Lead regular client survey and build relative action plan.
  • Ensure efficient usage and follow-up of the local budget and maximize its impact on the performance of Commercial, Trade Partners and Key Stakeholders
  • Ensure an optimal usage of all the Sponsorship events and act as a reference supporting local teams. Elaborate new and update current processes to ease the monitoring and the implementation of the events. Provide guidance to the Top Management to ensure the highest ROI of each action
Qualification


  • Masters degree or equivalent
  • Proven experience at a similar level/function with a comprehensive understanding of partnership, loyalty, communication, sponsorship and sales management process.
  • Be commercially minded with an exceptional flair for forging strong commercial relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to persuade and negotiate at all levels.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Excellent presentation skills required.
  • Rigorous, proactive and autonomous.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and to adapt.
  • Advanced skills on MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability and enthusiasm for representing the company and engaging with clients during events.
