The Parker Aerospace Simi Valley Fire, Safety, and Power Division site is a fully integrated location with product responsibility from Marketing and Engineering through Supplier Management, Program Management, and Manufacturing, ending with delivery to customers.
Parker Aerospace is a worldwide leader in multiple Commercial and Military Aerospace product lines, including Fire and Smoke Detection and Extinguishing systems, Bleed Air Overheat detection systems, Actuators, Rudder Pedal Assemblies, Pumps, Fuel Gauging Systems, High-Temperature cables, and more.

Logistics & Inventory Control Manager
Position Summary:
The Logistics & Inventory Control Manager uses advanced knowledge to ensure security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification and system review. Reduces inventory levels per each product, enabling the company to meet budget projections, while following policies, procedures and safety regulations.
Job Core Responsibilities
Effectively manages and develops staff for the Material Handling and Shipping/Receiving group
Ensures a correct statement of assets inventory on an annual basis by conducting a perpetual record analysis and reconciliation based on an ongoing physical inventory
Coordinates the control of inventory by administering the program for scrapping slow moving and obsolete materials
Maintains the control of inventory by administering the program for handling divisional policy releases
Conducts quarterly audits of all high dollar items in stores inventory, and monthly audits of all items showing a credit balance
Performs essential record analysis and reconciliation prior to making corrections to audits
Works with planners to understand root causes for excess inventory and devised appropriate countermeasures
Leads and directs work for team of employees as defined by business needs
Determines staff selection, performance, development and training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations
Job Specifications
Education: required bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectation

Competitive Compensation
- Pay Range: $111,450 to $195,150 annually
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program
