Position Responsibilities:
Leads the development of company position in coordination with key stakeholders
Develops arguments and responses to external inquiries to support the company position
Participates in or leads industry advocacy groups and governmental engagement to impact the global trade control environment
Monitors trends in government and industry, anticipates potential changes and recommends approaches
Combines the multiple elements of global trade control requirements into a comprehensive enterprise global trade control strategy
Identifies, documents, develops and deploys regulatory documentation for high profile and/or precedent setting activity with significant business risk and/or sensitive policy issues involving industry partners, subsidiaries, joint ventures and multiple regulatory agencies
Manages employees and mid-level managers providing guidance, authorization documentation, coordination, processes, procedures and internal controls to facilitate the import/export of company products and services
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
5+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables
5+ years of experience conducting investigations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Juris Doctor (J.D.) or relevant years of experience
10+ years conducting internal investigations
10+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and an eagerness to build relationships
Experience using lean and/or simplifying and improving business processes
Experience collaborating internally and externally to achieve business objectives

Summary pay range: $155,550 - $225,400
