External Affairs Manager Türkiye
Responsabilities
The ideal candidate will be supporting the Head of Country’s regular representation tasks in the country, promoting and protecting the Airbus brand, products and people, fostering relations with the country’s leading governmental, societal and industrial stakeholders. The jobholder will live a strong “One Airbus” collaborative approach between Headquarters and Region as well as between all Airbus business divisions (Commercial Aircraft, Helicopters, Defence & Space). The candidate will be supporting the One Roof Initiatives as well as the Communications in the country.
Key Responsibilities & Objectives External affairs
Supports the ACR in building and maintaining privileged relationships with high level actor, to lobby, influence and best defend Airbus&96; interests
Supports the ACR in advocating for key topics
Coordinated representation of the company in high-level forums
One Roof / One Voice / Comms
public events, establish briefings
Supports Head of Region and Europe Region leaders with briefings, content, speeches and participation at public events in Türkiye
Manages planning, execution and budgets for in-country events
Ensures all local activities are entered in a timely and accurate manner in the global Communications Planning
Fosters relations with the media in Türkiye
Liaises with local PR agency to plan yearly communication activities in the count
Business Growth
Supports information gathering on political and competitive trends
Consolidates monthly brief, or ad-how updates when relevant
Coordinates all relevant actions in support to the implementation of the business development strategy in the country
Supporting the manager in their day to day activities, anticipating their needs and preparing scenarii, decision-making- or presentations- material accordingly
Influencing key stakeholders and fostering relationships to deliver reliably
Managing the coordination of cross-functional and transnational interfaces, being able to manage
Monitors all One Roof related actions for the Country, when relevant
Supports in following-up, drum beating and closing all One Roof related actions
Supports the ACR in all One Voice related initiatives
Supports Airbus Country Representatives (ACR) when participating at a broad network at all hierarchical levels to collect views from bottom-up approach too
Identifying customer value, business needs and improvement opportunities
Leading some specific action plans / projects and supporting the management team
Joining team meetings, taking notes where necessary and briefing the ACR of the outcome and expected actions.
Compiling briefings for internal and external audiences.

Success in this position is contingent upon the ability to continuously adapt to the shifting international landscape, understanding its direct impact on business operations, supply chains, and market access. Furthermore, a crucial element of the role involves the proactive commitment to aligning yourself with ever-evolving technological tools. This includes mastering new digital communication platforms, data analytics for targeted outreach, and emerging technologies (like AI or AR/VR) to enhance internal and external communication strategies. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinker who views technological evolution not as a challenge, but as a critical opportunity to drive communication excellence and maintain a competitive edge.

Pre-requisites
Ability to develop and nurture Airbus network in country
Self-starter with a personable disposition
Readiness to take responsibility for driving local activities
Ability to multi-task and adapt to unpredictable schedules
Ability to answer media questions in timely and accurate manner
At ease to interact with confidence with Airbus senior management and customers
Excellent English writing skills (other European languages of advantage)
Must be available to travel.
