Construction Project Manager

33 - 45 per hour

We’re currently recruiting for a Construction Manager to support a complex Aerospace site in Filton. You will be responsible for setting up and leading client-side projects from inception and feasibility, through to design specification and final handover.

This role is being offered on a 6-month contract basis, with an expectation of 4 days a week on site in Filton. We can pay a rate of 33.64 per hour PAYE or 45 per hour Umbrella inside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Deliver construction projects as client-side project manager
• Regular communication and updates on projects to various stakeholders
• Provide clear direction and leadership for project
• Manage lifecycle of the project from end-to-end
• Ensure that expenditure is in line with the budget and that resources are utilised efficiently to ensure cost control
• Ensure Project is delivered to a Health and Safety Guidelines
• Manage risk and implement strategy where necessary

Essential

• Client side construction experience
• Knowledge of entire construction process
• BSc/HND in Construction/Building Services (or similar) or equivalent experience
• Previous project management experience within the construction industry
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety 
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders

Desirable

• Experience in client-side project management beneficial
• Experience of working on an NEC project preferred

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be BPSS cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
