In this role, you will ensure that cutting-edge aircraft systems meet the highest standards through rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and validation. Your expertise directly contributes to mission-ready aircraft and the future of aviation excellence.
What You’ll DoAs a Test Mechanic, you’ll work hands-on with advanced aircraft systems, performing functional testing and troubleshooting across a wide range of mechanical and avionics systems:
Conduct power-on testing of aircraft systems including wiring, flight controls, hydraulics, landing gear, lighting, cabin pressure, and more
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in avionics and integrated aircraft systems
Perform functional testing across systems such as oxygen, hydraulic, cooling, fire suppression, surveillance, and pitot-static systems
Load and verify software necessary for operational readiness
Use precision measurement tools (e.g., laser trackers) to validate engineering specifications
Inspect parts and assemblies, including first article inspections
Interpret test data and apply shop math and instrumentation to ensure compliance with engineering standards
Support installation through final testing of hardware/software systems
What You BringRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in aircraft testing, integrated avionics, or related fields
Strong experience with power-on testing and complex troubleshooting
Ability to work any shift, including weekends and overtime
Capable of standing and working for the duration of your shift
Proficiency using test equipment, precision measurement tools, and interpreting technical data
Preferred QualificationsExperience working with advanced avionics and integrated aircraft systems
Familiarity with aircraft system software loading and validation
Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing or MRO environments

Pay Details: $55.00 to $59.00 per hour
