POSITION: Ground Services Equipment (GSE) SpecialistLOCATION: Bethel, Alaska
You will be involved in the overall upkeep of GSE at our Bethel, Alaska base. This dynamic fleet includes heavy diesel equipment, forklifts, trucks and modern utility vehicles, on which you will ensure the regular maintenance, upkeep and perform repairs contributing to smooth daily operations at this Station.
We are looking for a highly motivated, honest, and reliable heavy equipment diesel mechanic who prioritizes safety and has a proven track record in demanding environments. This position is based out of Bethel, Alaska and is a rotational role, 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off.

- Completing work with proper documentation and communication to stake holders
You ideally possess:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a heavy equipment diesel mechanic is highly preferred.
- Current Drivers License required (Prefer applicants 25 years of age or older due to insurance requirements)
- Able to pass a DOT background check with no criminal history or disqualifying offenses in the last ten years.
- Comfortable operating various equipment, including forklifts or front-end loaders.
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to meet deadlines proactively.
- Highly flexible, adaptable, and resourceful
- Able to work independently and in a team.
You will also be expected to schedule and coordinate with specialized vendors and contractors in various locations as needed, as well as remain flexible and detail oriented. You will be expected to take care of and clean tools and equipment and always keep work areas safe and clear. Due to the scope of work that requires working on airport properties, you will need to be able to obtain all required airport badging.
