Quality Assurance Specialist - Manufacturing & Inventory Control

$37.01-$46.63/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Support product quality assurance by validating nonconformances, identifying root causes, and assisting with corrective and preventive actions in a manufacturing environment.

  • Review and validate product nonconformances, dispositions, and engineering requirements.

  • Analyze and evaluate the quality of products, processes, and operations.

  • Participate in root cause investigations and recommend solutions for nonconforming plans or hardware.

  • Support the documentation and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

  • Coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts and obtain necessary approvals.

  • Observe validation efforts to confirm nonconformance issues have been resolved.

  • Ensure internal replication systems comply with company and regulatory standards.

  • Create airplane-specific airborne software packages and conduct related audits to verify proper handling and storage of media.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree and typically 1+ years of related work experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience with inventory control, specifically handling defective parts.

• Background in a manufacturing environment.

• Preferred:

  • Experience working in a Boeing facility or with Boeing systems.

  • Prior experience in the aviation or aerospace industry.

  • Knowledge of MRSA (Material Review Segregation Area) procedures.
