PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Buyer to support procurement operations in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, equipment, and services while managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support operational goals and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Source, negotiate, and purchase materials and services from approved suppliers.
Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.
Review and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate procurement.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and cost targets.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Knowledge of supplier relations, cost control, and buying strategies.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Nice-to-Have:
SAP or ERP system experience.
Background in aerospace or manufacturing.
Experience with JIT (Just-In-Time) inventory practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
Planning experience and strong analytical skills.

Pay Details: $30.22 per hour
