JOB SUMMARY:
The Defense Afterspanet Intern will have the responsibility to ensure information and parts provided to internal and external customers is accurate and complete. Intern will assist with the management of domestic and international contracts from order placement through delivery, interfacing with functions throughout Textron Aviation to include but not limited to: Engineering, Afterspanet Logistics Services, Technical Publications, IT, Supply Chain Management, Business Development and Capture, Accounting, Finance, Production and Program Management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform duties to support order placement through delivery within the Defense segment of the business.
Assists in the preparation of proposals requiring quotations for cost, schedule, weight, certification, etc. in response to requests by prospective customers. Participates in sales presentations as required.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and service instructions to ensure accuracy of spares information.
Generate documents as necessary of spares materials changes for communication to our customers.
Communicates routinely with management to keep them apprised of status of customer issues affecting delivery schedules and to discuss specific problems requiring managements intervention.
Interact with SAP, PowerBI, and other data sources to analyze and interpret supply and demand signals, as well as provide inventory analysis as needed.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Currently enrolled in a certification or degree program for Business, Aviation, Engineering, Marketing, Data Analytics or related field.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires strong oral and written communication skills
Microsoft Office proficiency
SAP experience preferred
Action oriented
Flexibility and adaptability
Aptitude to quickly learn new processes as required
Collaborative personality
