Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agents to join our SCC Interiors Contracts team in Everett, WA.
When you fly on an airplane, do you ever wonder where the interior parts you see come from? Have a direct impact on this by joining the Boeing Supply Chain Interiors organization and influence people’s experience during flight. The role of Interiors Procurement Agent will lead integration and execution of contract and sourcing strategies. We are looking for a passionate supply chain professional with a desire to learn fast and make an impact taking on challenges and driving competitive advantages through our supply chain.
The selected individual will provide contracting knowledge including, but not limited to, negotiating and executing all aspects of Contracts & Sourcing in support of BCA programs. Primary duties include managing internal and external relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, negotiating cost, terms & conditions, and adherence to affordability and financial goals and objectives. The individual will also maintain supplier contracts and statements of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures.
Our team is currently hiring for Mid-Level (Level 3) or Senior Level (Level 4) Procurement Agent.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supply chain operations activities, inclusive of technical meeting coordination between the supplier and internal stakeholders, ensuring supplier commitments are achieved, coordination of supplier deliveries, line of balance management, etc.
- Develop procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions.
- Maintain and build partnerships and relationships across various business units with internal and external customers, stakeholders, and peers.
- Manages supply and demand, schedules, and supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance.
- Conducts risk, issues, and opportunities management.
- Performs on-site validation at suppliers of production readiness.
- Initiates and helps to complete supplier improvement activities and facilitates integration of results into contracting activities.
- Provides regular communication to Program, engineering, and contracting counterparts and integrates collaborators as vital to resolve issues.
- Helps provide oversight and project management for engineering change activities and work transfers impacting suppliers.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches and processes.
- Reviews procurement/planning systems to verify accuracy.
- Presents to various collaborators on supplier status.
- Performs work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in resolving objectives and approaches.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 3+ years of experience with Supplier Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
- 3+ years of experience leading projects from contract award through system requirements review, preliminary design review, critical design review, parts procurement, installation, testing, and delivery
- 3+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
- Domestic and international travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office products
- 5+ years of experience with ERP systems such as ERPLN and/or SAP
- 5+ or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary pay range (Level 3): $ 74,800 - $108,100
Summary pay range (Level 4): $ 95,200 - $138,000
