* Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM and 8-10+ of work-related experience, or equivalent years of experience
* Build relationships with internal and external customers to support program execution
* Apply advanced knowledge of industry standards, including AS9100, ISO9001, FAR, DFAR, and J-STD requirements
* Interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods, and translate them into work instructions
* Interpret requirements to develop and review quality processes and related performance metrics
* Disposition of non-conforming products and support failure review board investigations using causal analysis tools
* Apply advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) techniques
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Identify and document supplier quality deficiencies while ensuring effective corrective actions
* Develop inspection plans for production and supplier quality activities
* Perform First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements
* Travel 25%–50% to support company sites and suppliers Preferred Skills
* ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and/or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) certification
* Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
* Leadership or people management experience in quality environments
* Special process engineering background in manufacturing environments
* Manufacturing experience across multiple commodity types
* Work independently with minimal direction
* Perform AS9102 first article inspections, supplier audits, and hardware source inspections
* Use Apriso and SAP systems for quality or manufacturing applications
* Mentor and train peers in quality engineering practices
* Conduct process capability analysis, gage R&R, and measurement system analysis
* Communicate effectively in written, oral, and technical formats Job Duties & Functions
* Provide support for company sites and suppliers during production and transition-to-production phases
* Facilitate and lead initiatives to resolve recurring and complex quality issues
* Travel to company sites and suppliers to support program execution and issue resolution
* Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions to support ramp-up and continuous improvement initiatives
