Job Description:

  • Responsible for New Product Introduction Creation of EWI (Electronic Work Instruction), translation of design data in manufacturing data.

  • Responsible for Revision of EWI via ECN (Enterprise Change Notice).

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering group and other cross-functional areas to generate details on BOM, assembly drawings, Bill of Process, and other pertinent information required to perform the job.

  • Apply all captured lessons learned for rebuilds and read across actions on future new products EWI.

  • Problems are typically within a single area of responsibility and are typically solved through exercise of discretion and/or judgment, drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis

  • Responsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of work area

  • Procedure writing to set standards.

  • Ensure KPI’s / metrics of the team are met

  • All other tasks that are deemed appropriate by Product Engineering Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • College graduate preferably with Engineering degree

  • Knowledgeable in Manufacturing Assembly Processes, Process sheets, work instructions creation, or assembly manuals.

  • Multi skilled with other function within work area

  • Knowledgeable in Engineering Tools: Proficient on the tools & techniques required for the job, Lean Application, Pro Certification and 8D, NX and Teamcenter

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with modelled engineering data and configuration control through a PLM system.

  • Understanding of materials & tolerances of components and assemblies.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Must not have had any disciplinary case within the past year

  • Must not be under Performance Improvement Plan

  • With at least a year in his/her current position

Technical Skills / Competencies:

•Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft application)
•Preferably with experience in using SAP or any similar MRP systems
•Preferably with experience in Team Center software application
