Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. for our team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems to produce high-quality products, including the M270 launcher.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr., you will be responsible for developing tooling and equipment designs, providing engineering support to the production floor, and researching and developing mechanical products and systems. Your responsibilities will include:
•Designing and documenting tooling and equipment designs using Pro-Engineer/Solid Works
•Analyzing and solving complex issues on the M270 launcher
•Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues
•Developing and implementing manufacturing processes and systems
•Creating technical data packages and bill of materials (BoMs)

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Candidate should have a good understanding and demonstrated application of technical and problem-solving skills in manufacturing and production.
• The ability to translate technical drawings and specifications into practical manufacturing instructions is essential.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
• Competent with mechanical manufacturing and mechanical assembly.
• Competent with bill of materials (BoMs) and Indentured Parts Lists (IPL).
• Experience and knowledge of how military vehicles operate and the testing of the systems

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
