Overview:

The Lead Engineer role is for Aero Thermal team in Advanced Structures and will actively participate in NPI, Sustenance and Technology development activities.

 Primary Responsibilities:

•  Works and manages small sized projects or processes with limited oversight.
•  Handles difficult to complex problems.
•  Supports in managing work-processes, optimization methods, and risk management for medium projects.
•  Support developing SW/SJI/SPI to reduce escapes and improve OTD.
•  Support Technical RRCAs and solution implementation.
•  Participate in submission of invention disclosures and technical papers.
•  Support technology projects relevant to the domain of expertise.
•  Participate in process innovations.

Basic Qualifications:

•  Master’s degree in Aerodynamics/Fluids/Mechanical/Thermal engineering with 3+ years of experience in CFD is required.
•  Should have good understanding of Aircraft aerodynamics, fluid dynamics and compressible flows.
•  Knowledge of heat transfer preferred.
•  Should have good working experience of computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
•  Hands on StarCCM+ experience is required.
•  Hands on of Ansys-Fluent is added advantage.
•  Hands on experience in electronics cooling is added advantage.
•  Working experience of Catia preferred.
•  Should be good in using Microsoft tools excel and word.
•  Coding experience in VBA/Python is preferred.
•  Candidate should be self-motivated and enthusiastic to learn.
•  Candidate should possess good oral and written communication skills.
•  Candidate should possess good problem-solving skills.
