The Opportunity
Join our team at BDAs Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Capability as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
Were looking for skilled, driven individuals to join the E-7A Wedgetail Program at RAAF Base Amberley, to help keep these aircraft mission-ready. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), youll be hands-on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems.
You will:
• Collaborate with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion,
• Ensure compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
• Foster effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams
• Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.
• Embrace a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel.
What you will bring to BDA
As an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have:
• Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)
• Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
• Hold a current drivers licence.
Desirable
• Previous experience working with Military aircraft.
• Hold a current CASA or MAML
This role may require travel and periods working away from home. Its a great chance to immerse yourself in a different environment with our customer while carrying out the duties of the role.
