Role profile
The Aircraft Engineer Apprentice role provides a four‑year training pathway. Apprentices gain comprehensive experience across all areas of aircraft maintenance, supporting work on wings, engines, fuselage, tail, cabin, and flight deck systems. Candidate will also complete a series of engineering modules enroute to becoming a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
The Aircraft Structural Repair Engineer Apprenticeship is a three‑year programme designed to develop the technical skills required to carry out structural sheet‑metal repairs on commercial aircraft. Apprentices will work directly within the hangar environment, performing hands‑on repair tasks aligned with approved maintenance data and aviation safety standards
