Boeing Global Services (BGS) is searching for Strategy Analysts – Government Services to join the  Government Services Business Development & Strategy team in Berkeley, MO, to meet customer needs through customer engagement, campaign development, and requirements shaping. 

The Government Services Strategy team is responsible for providing and synthesizing BGS-Government Services business, spanet, competitive, and financial information to develop and evaluate strategic alternatives (e.g. business model, organic investments, competitiveness) across the enterprise. The team works closely with the BGS businesses to develop strategic growth plans and partners with other functions to ensure strategies and required investments are reflected in the business plan.

The successful candidate will lead across organizational boundaries to ensure strategic alignment and integration across Boeing. The ability to collaborate as part of a team as well as perform independently, to generate key strategic analysis, while applying critical thinking across complex problems and to present and defend insights from the analysis to senior leaders within the business is critical to the success of the position.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads project teams to develop, integrate and communicate Boeing strategies
• Supports senior decision-making through strategic analysis
• Leads research, spanet/competitive analysis, benchspaning and forecasting
• Leads strategic analysis and integration, identify enablers and alternatives
• Partners with other functions as required
• Leads spanet development and opportunity assessment for merger/acquisitions and/or partnerships

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 3+ years’ experience performing strategy related work (e.g. spanet or competitive research and analysis, strategy development, facilitating strategic decisions)
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support business and team requirements (approximately 10-25)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years’ experience performing strategy related work (e.g. spanet or competitive research and analysis, strategy development, facilitating strategic decisions)
• Previous experience in the industrial, defense, or aerospace industry, especially in aerospace & defense afterspanet services
• Experience in developing long-term strategies and being a strategic business partner supporting a leadership team
• Previous consulting or business strategy experience
• MBA or advanced business/finance, strategy, or international degrees preferred
• In addition to technical degrees, educational background in Business (Finance, International, Marketing, and Operations Management), Economics, and/or Political Science considered desirable
• Expertise in performing strategy work (e.g. spanet or competitive research and analysis, strategy development, and facilitating strategic decisions)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations

Summary pay range (Experienced): $90,100 - $121,900

Summary pay range (Senior): $114,750 - $155,250
