FAK and Wheel Administrator

Job Description:

The FAK and Wheel Administrator is responsible for the procurement of all aircraft related parts, equipment and supplies to meet requirements associated with the Company’s Aircraft operations and maintenance practices. The FAK Administrator reports directly to the Director of Materials.

Responsibilities:

Reviews and updates the Fly-Away inventory listings, daily.
Update FAK listings once physical inventory listings are provided.
Provide all required departments daily updated FAK listings for all A/C.
Source missing parts from inventory, repair or purchasing for replacement.
Arrange logistics for missing parts to get uploaded for each aircraft as required.
Work with various departments to ensure that the Inventories are accomplished when prescribe, done properly and ensure that FAK parts are replenished correctly.
Provide/Create FAK usage reports for each tail number.
Ensure that FAK usage procedures are followed by all parties.
Perform Monthly internal audits of each FAK inventory in regard to the computerized inventory systems for accuracies.
Assist with arranging truck shipments within the USA.
Assist with International Air Freight shipments as required.
Assist AOG/HMX purchases as required.

Tire Exchange Order Program:

Management of accurately forecasting Tire stock needed including Peak Season.
Build a good relationship with vendor which had aids in cost savings and order fulfillment.
Conduct all Receiving and Receiving Inspections for all stations with the exception of BYH and RSW. Monitor brake carryovers and usage for Forecasting.
Forecast from experience when the trend of brakes replacement is near.
Ship tires and brakes to speed up the process of replenishing brakes.

Job Requirements:

Previous airline / aviation experience.
College degree in Business or related field preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, experience with database Inventory/MX Systems preferred.
Strong Computer Skills, Communication Skills, and ability to work within a group under high pressure.
Efficient in prioritizing workload requires little to no supervision.
Some travel may be required.
Performs additional duties, as assigned.
