The Boeing Company’s Production System Training (PST) team is currently seeking an Employee Development Specialist, at either Experienced or Senior Level, to join their Boeing, Defense Space and Security (BDS) organization in Mesa, AZ.
The Experienced Employee Development Specialist will act as a technical instructor with a focus on composites and composites repair. This ideal candidate will possess a strong background in instruction and have experience supporting multiple military programs, as well as overseeing production, quality and delivery for the Mesa production system.
We are seeking a highly qualified individual with the following skills and certifications or with the ability to obtain these certifications and/or possess relevant equivalent experience:
Composite Fabrication
Composite Drilling
Composite Repair Certification Level 1 (COMREP100)
Composite Repair Certification Level 2 (COMREP200)
Composite Repair Certification Level 3 (COMREP300)
Position Responsibilities:
Deliver technical training in formal classroom environment, in lab environments and ship-side
Administer written and practical (skills) assessments in accordance with curriculum design and process requirements
Record and maintain training records into authorized repository
Provide technical (composites) training and coaching to individuals requiring enhanced skills training
Assist engineering, quality and manufacturing with assembly process training improvements
Use precision instruments, pneumatic and hand tools, as well as teach accurate measurements
Demonstrate the extensive ability to read, interpret and describe Engineering drawing, blueprints and specifications
Provide on the floor coaching to the manufacturing team
Plan and implement learning solutions as applicable
Identify potential issues that impact performance
Conduct assessments of processes (composites) and practices for comparison to applicable standards and governing criteria
Provide feedback on assessment results and identify opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
Analyze and interpret defect data
Develop training recommendations for the reduction of operator-caused defects
Perform ongoing monitoring of customers operating environment and key business measures and objectives
Partner with PST teams to develop and/or update training curriculum
Support BDS, Boeing Global Services (BGS) and Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) sites as needed
Capable of covering variable shifts, as required to support the business
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in teaching, coaching and developing others
3+ years of experience in composite fabrication processes
3+ years of experience with composite repair
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 + years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience delivering presentations
Experience working to Boeing specifications
Experience working under limited supervision
Experience maintaining a teaming environment that encourages continuous improvement

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Experienced Level: $76,500 - $103,500
Summary Pay Range for Senior Level: $90,100 - $121,900
