About This Role
We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for :
This intern will be assigned to one of the following areas in the accounting organization, depending on need at the time: cost accounting, includes inventory, billings and intercompany accounting, accounts payable, government reporting, timekeeping/payroll, fixed assets. Perform assigned accounting functions by utilizing technical accounting theory and practices in order to accurately record company financial transactions. Ensure compliance with company policies and all regulatory requirements
The Accounting co-op will be involved with Projects focused on various accounting functions including:
Prepare and record company financial transactions, preparing supplemental schedules as required .
Prepare assigned balance sheet account reconciliations applying appropriate analytical techniques.
Support financial, tax, internal and government reporting audits.
Interface with management and company personnel, as required , regarding the status of accounting transactions and corrective actions required .
Provide support to Accounting team
Will work onsite 20 hours per week
Qualifications
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelors degree in Accounting or a related fieldRising Junior or Senior in pursuit of a Bachelors Degree in Finance , Accounting or closely related fieldAbility to analyze and interpret program financial data. PC Proficiency required in Microsoft office with a strong emphasis on ExcelAbility to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and work well in a team environmentAbility to be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision

Textron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is
$22 - $25 per hour.
